About Anthea

As a seven-year-old, to get to sleep, Anthea would repeatedly play out romances, often set onboard cruise ships! She's been creating romance tales ever since.

While the Regency era is a more recent love (about twelve years), she has been reading romances all her adult life (you'll read about her Mills & Boon collection in her blogs).

Anthea decided to try penning her own book (the picture on the right shows her writing while on holidays in Portugal), after reading one too many novels where the Regency characters used language and idiom that is commonplace nowadays but in no way was used in 19th century England.

She is prepared for readers to point out her own failings in this regard!

In terms of her writing, Anthea’s ink-stained quill weaves tales of love and mystery.

Her novels transport readers to ballrooms where dukes and debutantes collide and collude, and longings spring to life beneath ruffled silk gowns.

Happily married and blessed with grown children, Anthea lives near Melbourne, Australia. She guards her true identity as fiercely as a Regency lady shields her reputation.

Follow Anthea on her literary journey, where ink meets destiny and secrets are whispered across time. Her first book, the Duke's Resurrection is out now on Kindle.
